Are You Righteous?

Are you righteous?  I am not talking about being self-righteous.  Self-righteousness gets us in trouble with God.  Unless we understand the Word of God, we would never dare say we are righteous.  Righteousness is one of our major parts of our armor that protects us against the devil.  Righteousness is not a feeling but a fact of faith.

Romans 4:1–5 (NASB95)

1 What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

Isaiah 64:6 (NASB95)

6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
