The word Trinity cannot be found in the Bible but the truth of it can. It is a major doctrine in the Body of Christ and has been around since the early church. We serve One God in Three Persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Godhead is both co-equal and co-eternal. Jesus said some startling statements to the Jews that freaked them out. I and the Father are One but then other times He said that the Father is greater than I. There is a way to explain that. When Jesus came down as a man to redeem us, He emptied Himself of His divine authority. That is why He said the Father is greater than I. Truth is that He was still God, that is why He said I and the Father are One.
