Remember there is a legal side to our redemption and there is also how we are living in respect to that redemption.  Jesus paid it all but sometimes due to lack of faith or perhaps wrong thinking inhibits us from enjoying all the benefits of that redemption.  This is not a salvation issue, but it is about the life we live now issue.  I remember hearing a story about a woman living in terrible poverty living back in the 1800’s.  She had worked as a maid for a rich man who had passed away and now was having a hard time getting work and starving.  She wasn’t well educated and could not read so her prospects were limited.   Several years had gone by and she was telling her story to a pastor of how she used to work and about the note her employer had given her thanking her for her service before he passed and how she had cherished it.  She showed it to the pastor, and he told her don’t you know what this is.  This is a bank note for $100,000.  All the while she was starving and going without, she really had all that she needed.  We are the same, we are uneducated about the power of God’s deliverance in our life.
