There are a lot of good books that have been written about prayer.  The best one is the Bible of course.  But just reading a book about prayer without praying is like reading a cookbook without making the recipe.  If we don’t “got prayer”,……. we need to “get prayer”.  For now, let’s don’t focus on the longevity of a prayer but let’s focus on the experience of prayer.  Prayer connects us with God.
