Church, we are locked in a battle between Light and darkness. Good vs evil.  Jesus made a glorious statement here in saying that the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church.  That is not a hope but a promise.  There is a condition though.  It takes revelation knowledge to live the overcoming life.  The Church of Jesus Christ has prevailed over centuries under various evil rulers and political climates.  No matter what the devil throws at us we keep getting stronger.
