Our Core Values

WE BELIEVE:

The whole Bible is the inspired Word of God and shall be used to govern our everyday lives.

2 Tim. 3:16-17, 1 Thess. 2:13

That Jesus Christ is Lord and the Head of the Church, the Chief Cornerstone, and the foundation of our faith.

Eph. 2:19-22, Col. 1:15-20

That through prayer we develop an intimate relationship with God that has the power to change our lives and the lives of those around us.

1 Tim. 2:1, James 5:13-16, Mk. 11:24

In the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit and that He dwells within believers and empowers us; being alive, active, and an integral part of our lives and ministries.

Jn. 14:15-18, Rom. 8:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4

That God created us to be true, heart-felt worshippers of Him. We do so in submission, awe, and reverence for who He is and what He has done.

Jn. 4:23-24, Psa. 150:6, Rev. 4:11

That God's Biblical plan for families is vital to the spiritual growth of the believer/church and we should strive to model this in the image God has given us. We believe the Church is a multigenerational family that is built up in love by living out Biblical values rather than worldly standards. Fundamental to this value is the sanctity of marriage, Biblical sexuality, and human life.

Eph. 5:22-6:4, Eph. 4:15-16, 1 Cor. 6:9-11

In preparing each new generation in a relevant way for life and ministry through mentoring and discipleship so that they will love the Lord with all their heart, remaining faithful to God.

 Psa. 78:4-8, Deut 6:5-9

Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, walked a sinless life, died on the cross, rose on the 3rd day and is seated at the right hand of God. We are redeemed by His freely given, perfect blood through faith and repentance; that He is the only way, the only truth, and the only life.

John 14:6, Acts 16:30-31

In accordance with being a loving church family, we accept people as they are, as Jesus received us, and welcome them to worship with us, knowing Jesus is the One who makes the changes in all of our lives.

Romans 15:7, Phil. 1:6, Phil. 2:13

As a non-denominational church, we are free to govern our own affairs based on Biblical standards without denominational control.

1 Corinthians 1: 10-13, Acts 20:28

God has called us to operate with integrity and excellence by standing for truth and righteousness. We are to be good stewards by utilizing the resources He has given us for the advancement of His kingdom.

Luke 16:10, Psa. 5:12, Prov. 10:9

That through the modeling and instruction of the Word, believers are transformed in spirit, mind, and body into mature followers of Christ, for service to Him, and to boldly share the gospel with the world.

Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:12-13, Matthew 28:19
